Location requirements

In order for a location to be viable for us, it must fulfil certain prerequisites. The following requirements apply to franchise partners:


• City locations with high frequency of pedestrians situated close to shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and hotels or located in an area with a high volume of restaurants
• Ground-floor locations with good visibility, preferably corner plots
• Surface area: 500-550m², of which 300-350m² on ground floor and 150-200m² in basement or on first floor
• Parking available for guests nearby
• Ceiling height at least 3 m
• On-site air intake and ventilation system
• Property that can be operated as concession
• Access for lorries over 7.5 t
• Outer façade of at least 10 metres
• Outdoor seating available on property
• Rental contract for 10 years plus options

Suppliers

We are always on the lookout for reliable suppliers, e.g. for drinks and crispy salads for every Block House location. We serve our guests regional beer and like to work with local tradespeople to make sure our restaurants are kept in immaculate condition.
