In European countries other than Germany, we operate Block House restaurants together with our franchise partners.
Block House franchise partners are incorporated into our business network, but set up their restaurants on their own and manage them independently. This therefore means that our partners invest their own capital in their restaurants. Throughout, they can rely on receiving comprehensive support and advice from the Block Gruppe.
We currently have four restaurants in Spain (Madrid, Malaga, Marbella and Palma de Mallorca), one in Portugal (Lisbon) and one in Switzerland (Basel).
We are currently only granting franchise licences within the European Union, namely in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. We do not currently plan to expand outside of Europe.
The Block Gruppe operates all of its restaurants in Germany and Austria itself and therefore does not grant franchise licences in these two countries.
